Washington CEO Magazine has teamed up with Avvo Inc., the Seattle company that rates attorneys across the country, to present a list of the top lawyers in Washington. Attorneys were selected from 21 areas of practice in business law, ranked according to Avvo's proprietary algorithms, then sorted into a list of the 10 highest-rated attorneys per practice area. The Avvo Rating is a score on a 10-point scale distilled from the raw ranking generated by Avvo. The ratings and rankings were calculated April 15, 2008, and will likely change as Avvo continues to gather more information on lawyers practicing in Washington state.
